UPDATE (6/11 @ 7:30PM): YOU MAY NOW ONLY SIGN UP FOR THE 9PM LOBBY AS WE NOW HAVE 16 PARTICIPANTS IN THE 10 O'CLOCK RACE.

WHAT TO DO IN THIS POST: I have posted two comments below, one for each race time. Register by replying to the time slot you want to race in with your gamertag. The two hosts, IDDavo (ShockedMeat) for the 9pm race and myself (mackleroy45) for the 10 slot, will use the replies as a reference list to either invite participants to a private lobby or keep random Fourza players from joining a public one while you guys filter in.

Please use the comment section of this post only to sign up for a time, not for general questions or comments. Our discussion post is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and you can find all relevant race information at the bottom of the page.

If you are fine with either race time and length please consider signing up for the time that has the least number of replies. Ideally we'd like to have both lobbies have the same number of people so that everyone gets to race in an equally competitive and populated atmosphere regardless of time, and filling one lobby with only a few in the other would kind of suck for the second group. Just some food for thought.

I know my original sign-up post had the 9pm race running for one hour, but due to poll results I will leave it up to that lobby to decide amongst yourselves whether to keep it one hour or increase the length to 24 laps. The 10pm race WILL still be 24 laps regardless of the 9pm race's length.

Additionally, if a time slot reaches 15 replies that lobby will be considered full and you must sign up for the other lobby if you want to participate at all. In the event both lobbies become full no more entries will be allowed beyond those 30 that have already signed up in addition to the two hosts. If someone wants to start a third lobby for everyone else by all means go ahead, I've had enough trouble trying to organize this Thursday's events by myself :)

Finally, if you are a fast driver please consider bringing a slower car to be fair to less experienced racers. I mean, I know that's kind of a dumb thing to ask but there's likely to be a skill disparity in these lobbies and having a more competitive atmosphere will be more fun for everyone involved. Again, just something to think about.

Also, thanks to The Vancen for the lead picture of himself in the #11 Esperante, me in the #11 Viper GTS-R, ly2v8 in the #56 M3, and Viggen Drives a Mazda6 in the #15 Gulf McLaren. Race in the 10pm slot and you'll see these cars next to you on the start line!

Again, please reply to only my comments to sign up for the races, that way the hosts will have a clear list of participants. Thanks and hope to see you guys out on track!

OK sorry for asking questions (i have never done this with jalops) but, when we do sign in to XBL, and fire up Forza 4, what should we do then? And should I practice LeMans Wednesday? Should I plug my turtle beach mic in? And lastly is anyone going to get screen "grabs" of us racing?

The host will invite you to the lobby. Ideally we'll open the lobby about 20 min before race time but if everyone hasn't joined we'll keep them open a little longer. They should have all the setting loaded up so you'll just pick your car and wait for the race to start. Practice is definitely encouraged, as is your mic (communication between us all is definitely a plus) and you can save the online replay yourself if you want, I was planning on doing the same and using the pictures in my post-race thread.

Hey man, I'm really sorry to do this to you but I just realized another player signed up for the 10pm lobby before you switched into it, so we now have 17 people signed up for that. Would you be cool with racing in the 9pm lobby still? Again, I sincerely apologize, I'm running three Oppo posts and two spreadsheets to keep track of all this and I'm not doing a very good job of it :(

4 People made it to the 9pm race. Myself included. I had a 16 second lead by lap 4. On lap 5 my puppy decided to turn into the devil and I had to retire. I wish I could have stayed.
